Doublelift hails from Mission Viejo, California. Doublelift first discovered his love for video games through the classic Nintendo 64 titles Star Fox and Golden Eye. After his brother got a computer, Doublelift frequently used it to play Diablo 1 and StarCraft. Since Doublelift’s brother would buy a new computer every few years, Doublelift soon came to own his own hand-me-down desktop. This allowed him to spend more time playing computer games such as DotA, WoW, and HoN with his brother and friends. Eventually they all left these games behind and moved to LoL.
Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng is widely regarded as one of the most mechanically skilled AD carries in NA. It’s a title that he is both confident in owning, and very driven to maintain. Doublelift’s pride and practice schedule are legendary in the NA scene. If Doublelift was a pro basketball player, he would be Kobe Bryant -- the guy who wants the ball. Oh, who are we kidding? Doublelift is Michael Jordan, because this guy was born to dunk.
After sticking with Counter Logic Gaming for almost four years, Doublelift shocked esports fans by joining TSM in 2015. Old rivals are now comrades. Doublelift's ability to analyze each performance will be key as he integrates into a very new and untested TSM squad. It might be the end of the #GoldenAge as we know it, but it's also the beginning of something new and fantastic for Doublelift.
